Tantrananda School of Tantra is primarily an educational project based on the Hindu concept of Tantra. The school is dedicated to the daily practice of teaching people how to generate more abundantly whatever they require in their lives. The school does this in order to teach the art of happiness by imparting methods, techniques and ways to attain the state of bliss known as Ananda. Inherent in the name of the school, Tantrananda literally means “Bliss through Tantra”. This is the promise and the code of the school who continues to deliver on this promise to any and all who commit themselves and adopt the teachings of the Tantric philosophies.

The Tantrananda School of Tantra has a grand vision for implementation of the ideals it holds core and is quite different from the common opinions. We believe that happiness can be a constant state of mind that has to be systematically trained in order to learn how to bring happiness at will.

As Tantric methodology is very elaborated, one of the key principles of the school is to provide an extended range of teachings suitable for people of all walks of life. Regardless of their level of familiarity with Tantra or in fact regardless of their level of self awareness or personal development, the system is designed so that everyone has the best opportunity to maximise their results.

The teaching material is made up of specific books published by Tantrananda Publications, specific media recordings published by Tantrananda Media Recordings, multiple Tantric workshops, Tantric sacred dance, etc. Although some clients chose to undergo Tantra initiation, this is not mandated by the school.

This school belongs to Kaula Tantra a millennial tradition of India that is less known in the Western world. It is here that the mission undertaken is to increase the profile of this tradition and through the leverage of people networking, the message will be spread as far as it needs to in order to communicate on a world scale.

There is no need to wait any longer for the appropriate action as there is no one else to lead it. It is the strong belief of Tantrananda School of Tantra, that the time to impart to the public this secret tradition has come. Our beliefs are based on the classical work Mahanirvana Tantra ('The Tantra of Great Liberation') that encourages people who belong to Kaula Tantra tradition to come into the open.

Tantrananda School of Tantra has taken the challenging mission of spreading the knowledge about Kaula Tantra as a commitment. This challenge we see it as a spiritual mission. Our intention is to inspire people to renew their earthly life in the spiritual dimension. A high level of teaching supports this and we guarantee the benefits arising from it to the seriously minded people.

The company was born serendipidously on September 11 in 2002 as a direct result of years of searching for a mission worthy of dedicating life to. Bahkti’s admiration of the spriritual life and death of her mother inspired her to search for the greatest possible application of her life skills and wisdom. She found her mission when her Guru Shiva Shastri, travelled from the Himalayas to Sydney to communicate the need for the Kaula Tantra to be spread to the world. They explained that this required great courage and that a woman such as her would have to lead it.

Armed with the outcomes of delivering Pleasure, Purpose, Wealth and Spiritual Liberation to the world, together with the principles of Service to people, Meditation and Healing, the Tantrananda School of Tantra was born.
